Our Main Stage season opener All That Jazz with the Unified Jazz Ensemble is now streaming on-demand through February 28th! All That Jazz is a revival of our 2019 hit. MD Theatre Guide says the show's "presence of the live jazz band truly sets the scene, but the talent of the performers takes it over the top". An ode to fosse, All That Jazz features songs like "Too Darn Hot", "Cell Block Tango", and of course "All That Jazz". The show is sure to delight audiences and leave them hungry for more.

Showcasing dozens of familiar Rock and Roll and R&B hits originally recorded by stars including Elvis Presley, The Drifters and Ben E. King.  With familiar songs including “Stand by Me”, “On Broadway”, and “Hound Dog”, join us in celebrating the music of the 50’s and 60’s in a lively new production.

The Secret Garden (Virtual HD Theatre On-Demand)  May 24th - June 8th 
This world-premiere adaptation of Francis Hodgson Burnett’s beloved novel begins as a tragic tale of loss for young Mary Lennox and ends with enlightened fulfillment.  As a confused orphan, she arrives at a great house on the Yorkshire moors full of mysterious secrets, strange corridor noises, and an Uncle with a story he’s afraid to tell. Mary’s escape to nature behind forbidden garden walls, friendships with two unique boys, and life-changing discoveries after she finds a long-buried key brings a story of the restorative power of hope for adults and children alike.

An American Anthology    June 11th -20th
From the pens of two of America’s greatest folk poets and storytellers comes an exploration of the depth of common human experience. First, poetic selections from Edgar Lee Master’s “The Spoon River Anthology” celebrate the living as only the dead can tell it.   Then, from “Mules and Men”, Zora Neale Hurston takes us to Eatonville, Florida as she brings to life the humor and wisdom that is the unique heritage of African Americans.

Classics Reimagined    August 6th -15th
This production showcases several new interpretations of classical written and musical sources, developed in collaboration with ASC resident artists and community supporters.  Come share our experience of reimagining these works while exploring their universal message and intent.

OUTDOOR PRODUCTIONS:

The Servant of Two Masters   Tuesdays May 25 – September 14 
This hilarious play tells the story of a hungry servant who tries to do the job of two men while working desperately to conceal that fact from both employers. With a zany plot featuring lost love, mistaken identity, ravenous servants, and lots of letter mix-ups, Goldoni’s classic comedy is rollicking fun.  Presented weekly in the Courtyard of Reynold’s Tavern

A Midsummer Night’s Dream – July 8 – 25 – GREAT NEW VENUE!!
Shakespeare’s most popular romantic comedy is set in an enchanted forest where fairies control the fate of sparring lovers, and a group of amusing amateur actors put on a play. Our 5th annual Epic Outdoor Shakespeare performance will be presented at London Town’s historic Gresham Estate, one of Anne Arundel’s most delightful new outdoor venues.

We offer SCHOOL PERFORMANCES with corresponding workshops and Q&As for all of our Main Stage shows along with PRODUCTION AND DESIGN INTERNSHIPS for advanced High School and College/University students. Annapolis Shakespeare Company is dedicated to theatre education for all ages and is the largest arts provider for Anne Arundel County Public Schools arts magnet program.
